Alienum phaedrum torquatos nec eu, vis detraxit periculis ex, nihil expetendis in mei. Mei an pericula euripidis, hinc partem.

I’m a third generation Colombian coffee grower. As a child I grew up running through the fields of my grandfather’s coffee farm in Piendamo, Cauca, Colombia. Learning from the best about coffee, tradition and best practices.

My brother and I returned to our roots and started Villa Myriam Coffee in 2009. I started my education through the Barista Guild of America (BGA) and got certified taking all classes for level 1 and 2. We also got certified and educated through the Rosters Guild of America (RGA) to ensure that we can provide the best coffee available.

"I WAS ABLE TO RECONCILE MY COFFEE TRADITION WITH CURRENT TRENDS".

Due to my relevancy and skill in the industry, I developed a notable reputation and was recruited as a barista for one of the biggest stars in the world. This afforded me many opportunities to travel the world and learn even more about coffee.

Between 2015 and 2020 I was in 5 different continents, dozens of countries and hundreds of cities, this allowed me to experience and study the coffee culture of multiple regions where I saw trends and gained even more knowledge of the coffee industry around the world; I was able to reconcile my tradition and origin with those of other cultures around the world.

In 2019 I sold Villa Myriam to focus on The Brew, changing my business model from industrialized to artisan, being able to focus on small batch roasting to order and engaging and working with my community here in the US and in Colombia. Join me and my community of coffee lovers and help me support small coffee growers all around the world.

Coffee has been my passion, not only because of what it means to me but because of its ability to connect people. Regardless of background or geographical location, our love of coffee is something we all have in common.
